When you walk around in the parks, on streets or in stadiums, you might see people practice Tai Chi, it is one of the most popular martial arts in the world, has been practiced in China for centuries. It combines slow-motion, deep breathing and meditation. Every movement in Tai Chi represents an important part of traditional Chinese philosophy-Harmony. Tai Chi's movements are smooth, elegant and harmonious, it focus on correct posture and breath, help the balance development of body and mind.

Howard Hao started learning Wushu (Martial Arts) since he was 6 years old. He graduated from the Beijing Sport University with a degree in Physical Education specializing in martial arts in 1995 and later obtaining his Master’s in Traditional Chinese Sports. From then on he focuses on teaching Taichi to foreigners, and meanwhile he received his Doctor degree in 2009.
Dr. Hao has contributed to his field by translating books and articles as well as developing new and systematic ways to teach Taichi and he himself has been teaching Taichi for the past 20 years, mostly at the Beijing Center for Chinese Studies, an American studying abroad program of top-rank, and some luxurious travel agencies, helping foreign friends experience the Taichi culture.
As well as working with hundreds of students, notable students include children of the former US Ambassador Clark T. Randt, the children of Robert De Niro, Director Quentin Tarantino, Heidi Klum etc..
Dr. Hao has considerable experiences teaching western students and is known for his engaging teaching style. Howard has had over 10,000 western students spreading out the world.
